About Megan

I completed my diploma (700 hours) as a Biodynamic craniosacral therapist with the Craniosacral Therapy Education Trust (CTET) and qualified in August 2020. I also completed postgraduate training in Craniosacral therapy for Mothers and Babies in October 2020.

I first came into contact with Craniosacral therapy in 2014 after a long history of physical complaints and anxiety. I received months of holistic massage a couple of years earlier which was extremely helpful at the time and then after that many sessions with chiropractors and osteopaths which were also supportive but never felt like quite the right approach. I had my first sessions of Craniosacral therapy in Sundsvall in Northern Sweden where I was living at the time. I found the experience really profound and the effects second to none. I came home feeling much calmer and more centred, much more myself. I wasn't sure what the practitioner was doing but it was gentle and non invasive and my body loved it. I continued having therapy when I moved to London to do a post graduate diploma in contemporary dance.

Whilst studying in London I met Marina Collard who is both a dancer, teacher and craniosacral therapist. I spent months and then several years going to see her for therapy. My body aches less, my anxiety is so significantly reduced and I feel much more grounded. The impact of this therapy has been influential and transformative, and continues to support me in finding a centred, grounded and stable lifestyle, allowing me greater insight into myself and my history, and a deepening understanding of the state of others.

I've always enjoyed giving massage and bodywork to other people and through my dance training had many opportunities to do so, I've always known that I'd like to be a therapist. However, it wasn't until I came across craniosacral therapy that I felt that I'd found the perfect modality for me. Holistic and very much a combination of mental, emotional and physical wellbeing, it gives an all rounded approach to health.

Through my teaching I have tailored courses and classes to fit the individuals that I have worked with and I continue to do the same within Biodynamic craniosacral therapy. Each session follows the pace and needs of the client.
